Je croyais autrefois que les jeux étaient faits pour gagner—jusqu’à ce soir solitaire où les chiffres dansaient comme la pluie sur un tambour de samba. Super Bin Guo ne m’a pas offert de l’excitation : il m’a offert le silence. Chaque carte était un pas—not un pari, mais une respiration. Le rythme n’était pas aléatoire ; il était rituel. Dans ma maison d’enfance près de Lincoln Park, ma mère m’a appris que la joie vit dans la pause entre les battes.
